Plating trees for sustainable future

We've teamed up with Ecodrive to make a difference, one tree at a time. For every order, a tree will be planted across the globe, as we believe that tree planting is a great way to reduce the effects of greenhouse gases and improve the environment. Additionally, it allows us to neutralize the impact of our own emissions.

We recognize that climate change is a global issue, and we strive to ensure that our efforts are global too. This approach enables us to plant various species at different times throughout the year while remaining cost-effective.

About Ecodrive: Veritree is a restoration platform that uses blockchain-based systems to connect us directly with the impact of our tree planting efforts. By using their systems, we can monitor trees planted by us for accurate data and impact analysis.

Ecodrive was built to address many of the problems facing tree planting and nature-based solutions globally, including double counting, poor monitoring for permanence, and the inability to collect accurate local data

Importance of Tree Planting?

Carbon pollution, caused by the burning of fossil fuels, is one of the most serious threats to our planet's climate. This has led to a range of devastating effects, from melting ice caps to rising sea levels, which threaten our very way of life.

In this era of mass production and consumption of resources, Globally we deforest around ten million hectares of forest every year. That's an area the size of Portugal every year. Around half of this deforestation is offset by regrowing forests, so overall we lose around five million hectares each year. (Click here for more info)

Trees and vegetation lower surface and air temperatures by providing shade and through evapotranspiration. Shaded surfaces, for example, may be 20–45°F (11–25°C) cooler than the peak temperatures of unshaded materials. Evapotranspiration, alone or in combination with shading, can help reduce peak summer temperatures by 2–9°F (1–5°C). (Click here for more info)

Trees help clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's terrestrial biodiversity. Forests absorb harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all medicines. Have you ever taken an Aspirin? It comes from the bark of a tree! (Click here for more info)
